The Responsible Jewellery Council<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is an international non-profit organisation that gathers more than 1.100 companies working in the field of diamonds, of goldsmithing and that of platinum, starting from the extraction process of minerals up to the retail trade. RJC members are committed to promoting respect for ethics, human rights and the environment by adopting good social and environmental practices across the chain. Their main goal is to guarantee both the quality and the ethicality of the production.<\/p>

Furthermore, the Council has developed a certification system to which all members need to abide and be certified by an accredited certifier.<\/p>

C.G.S. , as a RJC member, carries out its business activity in accordance with RJC requirements, adopting policies and management systems that comply with the above-mentioned principles. \u00a0<\/p>

C.G.S. has been a certified member of RJC since April 2017, after having adopted a responsible production system, as well as an attested manufacturing, ensuring the full application of the company of ethical and responsible practices though an independent control system.<\/p>

In January 2024, C.G.S. obtained the renewal of both the RJC \u2013 Code of Practices <\/b><\/span><\/a>certificate and the RJC \u2013 Chain of Custody.<\/b><\/span>

CGS srl has regularly verified that all precious materials used in its production cycle come from companies certified by RJC COP and COC.<\/p>

This verification was carried out by directly checking the validity of the certificates of the refining companies and suppliers of silver and gold from which CGS srl sources, through the RJC websites.<\/p>

In fact, CGS srl\u2019s management system includes policies and procedures with clear responsibilities and adequate training for the personnel involved, to ensure the proper implementation of the \u201cDue diligence for responsible sourcing from conflict-affected and high-risk areas,\u201d in accordance with the requirements of RJC COP 2019, point 7, and the OECD Guidance, Step 5.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl operates in the production of gold and silver semi-finished products and finished jewelry, both for its own brand and on behalf of third parties. The vision of the Management is to maintain and grow its market position. To achieve this, the organization is attentive to external factors and their changes in terms of technical, product, industry, service, cultural, social, environmental, regulatory, and legislative requirements.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl has adopted the Code of Practices (CoP) standard and commits to promoting responsible practices from an ethical, human rights, social, and environmental perspective throughout the gold and platinum group metals supply chain.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl is focused on strategic factors to achieve specific development objectives, which are outlined in the strategic directives from the Management.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl also focuses on internal factors typical of the sector, such as shareholder satisfaction, human resource satisfaction and development, financial resource allocation for investment promotion, and attention to safety and environmental aspects.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl is committed to internal and external sustainability factors, which are expressed in ethical work practices, social and environmental considerations. It has therefore embraced the objectives of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), sharing the general goal of a globally responsible supply chain that fosters trust in the global jewelry industry through the adoption of the RJC Code of Practices for sustainable practices across the gold and platinum group metals supply chain, from mining to retail.<\/p>

We are committed to following the OECD guidelines for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, integrating ethical, human rights, social, and environmental considerations into our daily operations. We pledge to reject and report corruption, false declarations of origin, money laundering, and to comply with the payment of taxes, duties, and royalties to governments, as well as national and international legislation.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl is committed to respecting fundamental human rights and individual dignity in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.<\/p>

The use of child labor will not be tolerated.<\/p>

C.G.S. srl is committed to avoiding any form of forced labor, bonded labor, indentured labor, and will not restrict the freedom of movement of employees and subordinate workers.<\/p>

We pledge not to engage in any form of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, caste, country of origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, pregnancy, political affiliation, marital status, physical appearance, age, or any other prohibited restriction in the workplace.<\/p>

We are committed to supporting and sharing the World Diamond Council\u2019s System of Warranties (SoW) in support of the KPCS (Kimberley Process Certification Scheme), maintaining traceability within the supply chain.<\/p>
